Retro Classic ‘Cars and Coffee’

One of the most interesting and varied group of people you’re ever likely to meet are the American classics / muscle car fans. From leather vest wearing tattoo covered middle aged balding men, and their matching wives, to well heeled smartly dressed young professionals with a passion for restoration, the spectrum of the fan base is vast. Almost as varied as the people who love them are the number of different types of cars they are passionate about. From immaculate gleaming icons like the Ford Mustang, to the sit up and beg hot rod 30’s classics and even the vast petrol guzzling pick-up trucks, there really is something for everyone.

In the quaint little village of Swainby lies Retro Classic Cars, an eclectic collection of fine American vintage cars of all shapes and sizes, ages and price ranges. The small backstreet garage houses a fine array of interesting design icons, future classic charms and modified muscle machines. It’s always a pleasure to visit the garage and hear the fascinating motoring stories from such varied backgrounds, especially for their monthly Cars and Coffee meets.
